This book contains a very detailed description of the Greenwood Family History since 1154. Of particular note is the account of Reverend John Greenwood, the Puritan Separatist who was hung during the reign of Queen Elizabeth on April 6, 1593. You can also read about him in the Encyclopedia Britannica.
Eventually, the entire text of the book will be available online. If you are able to assist me with this project your help will certainly be appreciated. In the meantime, you can obtain your own copy from Higginson Books.
My goal is to provide a place for those who share the Greenwood name to learn more about their heritage. Any and all feedback, contributions and ideas for improvement of this site are most welcome!
